Камеры за кулисами следили за артистами из 24 стран, за их подготовкой к выступлению, нервным ожиданием выхода на сцену, а также картинки из гардеробной и артистического фойе. Техническая картинка рассказывает о микшировании видео, режиссерской работе, освещении, работе над звуком, где можно следить за работой технической команды. Marie N, who admitted that during the whole week in
Tallinn she never thought she could win the contest, had a short message to Latvia:
“Firstly, I want to say “Thank you!”. Secondly, “Sorry!”. And now I want
to say “WOW!”. When Marie N entered the press conference, the Latvians in the hall welcomed her shouting “o-lee-o-lee.” And since there was a crowd at the front of the room, Marie once again climbed onto the desk and posed for photographers. Marie admitted that she doesn’t yet realise what’s really going on, but that Latvia must be facing a little bit of a problem! When asked what Riga has to offer Eurovision visitors next year, she replied that the right place to host Eurovision doesn’t actually exist at the moment – so they’ll have to start building one tonight. Two days ago she said: “If I win, then I’ll drink.” And she confirmed it to the audience in the hall: tonight she’s going to drink. “Tomorrow morning I’ll wake up and start thinking of what really happened,” she laughed. Then she’s going home, will probably have another press conference in Riga and then drink again. From Monday she’ll have to back to work – which is what she thought victory would bring her most of. Marie N, the winner of the 47th Eurovision Song Contest in Tallinn for Latvia, promised to issue a new album for Europe this year. "I do not know yet how it will happen but I promise that a new album would be published in Europe this year," Marie N told a news conference in early hours on Sunday. Marie N promised that she would write a new song herself to Rosa, the singer that represented Spain in the Eurovision. Marie N published her first album in 1999 with songs of Raimonds Pauls in Russian. A year later she published her debut album in Latvian that became a golden album in two weeks and a platinum in 11 months. Last year Marie N published her third album "Ma Voix, Ma Voie" where she sings in French and Latvian. Marie N said that she likes to sing in various languages and to make a show to accompany the songs. The spectators were thrilled by the stage performance during Latvia's song as the singer stripped her suit to reveal a short red dress that was later transformed into a long evening gown. Marie’s performance, said to be the best of the whole contest, was what she thought had given her extra points. She added that a song contest on radio is just a song contest, but on television she believes there has to be a show. She agreed with a journalist who suggested that she should create a whole musical out of her song and performance. "I do not feel like a Russian or a Latvian, I am a cosmopolitan," Marie N told reporters. "All performers should forget their nationality in Eurovision and simply do their best." At the same time Marie N said that Eurovision should be a more national event. "I have made this proposal to the organisers at EBU," she said. "I like languages very much," Marie N said. "Speaking Latvian, Russian and English is entirely natural and as I like French chansons I also speak French and adore Italian that I cannot speak as well yet." |
