Polish songs and videos at Euro-mp3, Songcontest.nl, OnEurope, Eurowizja and CGM.pl. Polish band Ich Troje won national preselection with Bez Granic (Without borders). Song with very peaceloving lyrics was performed in Polish, German and Russian. Selection was made with SMS voting only without usual televoting. Band Ich Troje is also scheduled to take part in German national final, but with another song. | Band leader Michael Wisniewski
has a long list of achievements - he opened the first Karaoke restaurant in Poland, ran a
film script translation agency and ran a company specialising in magnetic ID cards. He is
soon to be the subject of an Osbournes style reality show on Polish TV He has also tried his hand at television directing and at one point almost managed to persuade Polish TV that his idea for a laser show in the cityof Lodz was a viable plan. From humble beginnings in his Karaoke bar, he formed the band Ich Troje. They immediately were hits in Poland with top selling records. They also began to make inroads in Germany in 2001, Wisniewski has dual nationality in Germany. The band triumphed in the Polish national final and then found themselves in a difficult situation, they had a different song in the German Countdown Grand Prix. Contractual obligations meant they also had to head to Kiel for a performance. Jacek Lagwa doesn’t really appreciate his popularity and thinks that one shocking person in the group is enough. That’s also what Justyna Majkowska thinks. She joined the group in April 2001. They recorded together the song “Say” which became the turning point of their career and made the album “AD 4” reach more than 800 000 sales achieving Diamond status. Ich Troje doesn’t only consist of Michal, Jacek and Justyna. It includes dozens of people who also participate in concerts. Their concerts are great shows that combine the power of pop music with the verve of a musical. They talk about love, betrayal, break-ups in dramatic atmosphere. In the last two years Ich Troje have given over 300 concerts in crowded stadiums and sports halls. Their fans come from different backgrounds: from amused children to pensioners in tears. The whole Poland loves them. Now they hope that people from other countries will also enjoy their songs because, as Michal sings, there shouldn’t be any borders between people and it’s time to put that idea in practice! Второй из основателей группы Ясек Лагва не хочет спекулировать на своей популярности, и считает что одной шокирующе-харизматичной личности на группу вполне достаточно. Также считает и Юстина Майковска. Она присоединилась к группе в апреле 2001 года. Они вместе записали песню "Скажи", которая стала поворотным моментом в их карьере и альбом, в который она вошла "АД4" был продан более чем в 800 тысячах экземплярах. Их Трое состоят не только из Михала, Яцека и Юстины. Туда входит еще около дюжины людей, также участвующих в концертах, которые соединяют в себе силу поп-музыки с живостью мюзикла. За последние годы Их Трое дали более 300 концертов на переполненных стадионах и залах. Вся Польша от детей до пенсионеров обожает их. Теперь они надеются, что и люди из других стран полюбят их, поскольку, как говорит Михал, не должно быть никаких границ между людьми и пришла пора обратить эту идею на практике!
