Claudia Beni is the youngest participant of the Eurovision Song Contest, she will be 17 on May 30.
Claudia throws up her cards that there is slightly changed choreography in her performance, the girls take off some of their clothes during the show.
Croatian performers have mastered all the songs of this year’s contest and upon the journalists request they performed a Spanish and Great Britain’s song, as well as their own song.

Stelios (Cyprus) press-conference

The Cyprus performer after taking part at the second rehearsal together with the Backing Vocalists and the Dancers said: “ Today everything was going on better – either the sound or all the rest. The Backing Vocalists were also satisfied.”
The Head of the Delegation also thinks that everything is going on as it has to be: “ The second rehearsal is always better than the first. In turn, the third is better than the second. But the final is usually the best.”
The singer confessed that he will be performing in front of such big audience for the first time, and he might be a little nervous. Nevertheless, feelings change by stepping on the stage.
The Greek journalists were interested in the Backing Vocalists careers. Stelios Constantas told that Evagoras and Nataly had been singing together for six years, moreover Nataly was also a great dancer. Yota has been predicted to have the same big success in music as her mother has who is one of the well-known dancers in Cyprus.

Lou (Germany) press-conference

The song “ Let’s be happy” is written in English. Why? The composer of the song replies: “ Simply. Europe is becoming more English-oriented. Besides, it’s important that people understand what is the message of the song. Even the first formers at school understand the words – let’s be happy!”
Saturday’s “ three minute performance together with friends” Lou is waiting with big excitement. “ It’s one of the most wonderful moments in my life!” Ralph Siegel admitted that the dream of every artist is to represent his country at the international contest. “ We can say that we are dreaming the same dream!” Therefore he wishes to everybody good success in this contest.
The singer told that she usually needed 60 seconds before appearance on the stage stay alone in silence with her own minds.
Since the age of 15 Lou has been singing in a jazz band  - the only girl among five chaps. She admits that very significant moment in her life was the time when she was born – 6 o’clock in the morning.
This happy song was created at a rather sad moment, admits the composer. When Ralph Siegel’s song was rated as 22^nd last year, it made him very sad.” Music is the thing that can “ raise you up”. And Lou needed my support, “ admitted the composer.
The song came into his mind quite accidentally on one holiday night when Ralph had gone out for a walk. “ All seemed so gloomy, and all the world was engrossed in dreary colors. And then suddenly this happy song came up into my mind.”
“ We are happy that Lou is singing this song. And I do think that her smile and experience, as well as that her skill to say” Hello! That’s me! I am here! Just love me!” worked so well”, said Ralph Siegel.

F.L.Y. (Latvia) press-conference

When asked if they are ready to create Latvian Television new headaches, Martin Freiman responded: “We are always giving them headaches because we live here and Lauris and I work at the Latvian TV.”
“I wasn’t thinking of participating at the ESC this year. I am here because of the boys and because of the song,” admits Jana.  “For this contest, our voices are insured for 150 000 USD each,” Martin Freiman informed.
“Last week Latvian Prime Minister came to look at the stage and said that we are allowed to win,” the performers told.
Their favourites at this ESC are the entries of Norway, Spain, the Netherlands, and Iceland.
Yesterday, on May 20^th, Latvian representatives at the ESC presented their new debut album “Never look back”.

Beth (Spain) press-conference

The singer told that today’s rehearsal has been very good and she feels confident on the stage. “When on stage, I think only about the song, words and choreography“ she admitted. She is very proud to represent Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest this year.
When asked if she is aware of the fact that her song “Dime” is the most popular among the Eurovision fans, Beth said she knew she was one of the favourites. Yet, she wouldn’t like to create any illusions, as the real winner will be named only on Saturday night.
Nina, Beth’s manager, represented Spain at the ESC in 1989. She is keeping fingers crossed for her. “If Beth wins, all Spanish singers win,“ she said.

Lyor Narkis (Israel) press-conference

The journalist from USA asked why Israel was taking part at the Eurovision Song Contest if it was not geographically situated in Europe. The Head of the Delegation responded that Israel had always been participating at European basketball and football competitions. We are Europeans and our neighbors don’t mind it. Although we are not USA, we like this country.
The Backing Vocalists were asked how they felt together with Lior Narkis, they responded : “ He is a  very kind-hearted and kind man. We have been together only for some months, but we feel like a big family.” Izchak Sonnenschein pointed out that their team had the best performers.
The singer highlighted repeatedly that they would do all they can in order to win the contest. “ We are ready to host you in Israel!” added Izchak Sonnenschein.
